Thank you for visiting the home page for the 6th Annual Walk For Brain Injury events to be held throughout the state beginning March 2, 2013 and ending on May 5, 2013.  We have a total of 13 walk sites across the state that will promote our efforts to raise awareness of brain injury and much needed funds for the Brain Injury Association of California and the Host Organizations in certain cities.

We have set our fundraising goal to $300,000 and we invite you to register today and begin building your team.  We hope to exceed 3,000 participants statewide and we challenge each participant to raise a minimum of $100 to meet and/or exceed our goal.  Participants may walk as individuals or join a team in honor or memory of a person with brain injury. 

Our registration / donor site will enable you to register online and begin your fundraising efforts.  Please take a few moments to customize your individual or team page and utilize the functions that allow you to send out notices to invite family, friends and colleagues to join you at the walk or donate to your page.  (Note:  All donations made to an individual page will be applied to the team that the individual has registered for).  Please encourage friendly competition between individuals and teams and don't forget to utilize the social media tools available to aid you in your fundraising efforts.

For those walk sites with Host Organizations, a percentage of the gross proceeds will be paid out to them so please help the local organizations to achieve their fundraising goals so that they may continue to provide programs and services in their communities.
